      Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Stag VPN on my home setup, and it’s helped me keep my MagicMirror connections secure when I access it remotely. I was wondering if anyone has considered (or is already working on) a VPN integration module for MagicMirror, or if there’s an existing workaround to combine VPN features with the mirror interface.

Would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions from anyone who’s tried similar setups!

      Thanks in advance.

@auroralane7754 i use a cloudflare zero trust tunnel,
i can add multiple services as endpoints ssh, vnc, MagicMirror whatever . all free. you need a dns name record. i got one for $7 a year from namecheap

cloudflare provides a local network gateway which connects to their network, i run this in a docker container.

guacamole is another service which supports the remote connections to the ssh, vnc, rdp interfaces, so you run it in docker too , add it to the tunnel, and have a login to get to the connection interfaces

I use tailscale and attach all my home devices to their network which means only devices on your tailscale network can access the services. I use cloudflare to push all service requests to my reverse proxy’s tailscale 100.x.x.x address.
