mm-system-temperature

I’m always having a fetching data… is it possible that the plugin can’t handle Celcius temperature from the system command ?
-
The module worked for me, running on RPi 3. The plugin is just executing a script, then stripping off extra data.
What system are you running the module on?
-
It’s always “System temperature: fetching…”
-
@PointPubMedia I’m the autor of that module (and the MagicMirror² system), so I might be able to help.
On what Raspberry Pi version are you running the module? What version of Node.js are you running? What version of the OS are you running?I personally use the celsius temp as well, so that shouldn’t be the issue.
-
guys… don’t know why… but it’s working AFTER a reboot… sorry to wasting your time ;)
-
@MichMich Would need some help about CSS with your module…
I would like to use it at bottom_bar
with
div.mmm-systemtemperature div.module-content {
text-align: right;
}And also change the fontsize and dimmed to false… like I did with the MMM-ip module
-
Can we change the prepend string without touching the code directly ?
-
@PointPubMedia Yes, the prepend string is in the config
modules: [ { module: 'mmm-systemtemperature', position: 'top_center', // This can be any of the regions. classes: 'small dimmed', // Add your own styling. Optional. config: { **prepend: 'your string'** } } ] ~~~
-
prepend in the config is not working. That change nothing…
-
@PointPubMedia
Sorry,
the correct syntax is prependString per the documentation:prependString: 'Pi 3 Temp: '
worked on my system.
