So I’m not actually building a magic mirror, but you guys seem to know your stuff when it comes to LCDs.

      https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/100-Tested-LCD-For-PPTV-PP-phone-King-7-7S-PP600-Display-Screen-Touch-Panel-Glass/2067160_32815898442.html

I’m looking at this display for example. How can I find out what type of connection it uses, what type of adaptor I need, what type of driver I need.? There are so many different acronyms eDP, DP, LVDS, MIPI. I have no idea which one this uses.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Apologies that this is a little off topic.

Why do you want to use a phone screen? Ultra slim?

there are already touchscreens made for easy usb/hdmi connections… like this one :

          It’s a relatively cheap 2560*1440 display.
