      Hi all,
Apologies if this isn’t the right forum for this.

Looking to have a magic mirror triggered via other inputs with my home automation system Indigo.

Ideally I’d like to be able to remotely turn on/off the display through a script. Is there a simple way I can do that?

      Thanks
      Noel

I assume the MM is running on a raspberry pi. The display does not go into low power mode but this may be what you are looking for…

xset -display :0 dpms force off

You may have to install xset.
I have triggers through HomeAssistant (home automation).

I had the same problem but I am using home assistant. I ended up installing MMM remote. And created a switch for on and off parsing theese urls. Maybe that would work for you as well?

          command_on: "/usr/bin/curl -X GET http://192.168.0.77:8090/remote?action=MONITORON"
          command_off: "/usr/bin/curl -X GET http://192.168.0.77:8090/remote?action=MONITOROFF"
