Microsoft To-Do (wunderlist replacement?)
-
I created a new module for Microsoft To Do at https://github.com/thobach/MMM-MicrosoftToDo. The migration from Wunderlist to Microsoft To Do was quite seamless.
@joela85 @binderth @D90 Could you please test it and provide me some feedback? Thanks!
-
I implemented it today and it works like a charm! Thank you very much!
Is it possible to sort the tasks in different ways?
Can I set the alignment to left side in the right side panel? Maybe in CSS?
-
Nevermind, found it out for myself :smiling_face:
You just need to add this in custom.css and it works:.MMM-MicrosoftToDo .module-content { text-align: left; }
-
@thobach thanks for your effort!
I just migrated my wunderlist to ToDo (which went flawlessly) and now I’d like to authenticate ToDo as you described on github.first: I think, the URL is broken (spaces here: https://github.com/thobach/MMM-MicrosoftToDo#authorization-code-generation-code).
only after replacing the whitespaces with “%20” it worked and I got thecode.after that - I got all the info - but still no entries.
logfile-out:
[22:22:45.809] [LOG] Connecting socket for: MMM-MicrosoftToDo [22:22:45.811] [LOG] MMM-MicrosoftToDo helper started ...but the mirror only shows “Lade Einträge…” (loading entries).

apart from getting it to work, in what intervals does the module refreshs on the list? and could you also implement the “fade-option”? looks just cool! ;)
-
@binderth This is the problem I had first too. Had a c&p error in one of the tokens. Just do it again, for me it worked because I received other codes and now it loads everything.
-
@ThaliaFromPrussia jepp, did that (the client_id and stuff stays the same, but code regenerates. or did you delete your App as a whole?
-
@binderth From the point with Azure on, including a new client ID.
the refresh time is very fast. You set up a new task and within a few seconds it appeares on the screen.
-
@ThaliaFromPrussia ok - still nothing new, did a complete new App now.
is there a way to get more Loginfos? right now I only get the helper and stuff in the log, but nothing more. no Authentication error or something, which would point me in the right direction… -
@binderth I can only guess that you’ll have a typo somewhere. Maybe someone else near you can compare what you got and what you typed?

This might be helpful:
@sdetweil said in no result from mvgmunich modul:
@Babene1 open the developers window, using the keyboard, ctrl-shift-i, select the tab labeled ‘console’ and then scroll up… to find any errors (usually red text)
you can also filter to messages from a single module, by putting some part of its unique name into the file labeled ‘filter’, like mvgmlet us know what u find
if you use pm2 to manage the mirror runtime, you might also look at the logs, by doing
pm2 logs

@binderth
…same issues here. i can’t get it running and i am missing an option to analyse the problem :( -
Hi. I successfully impemented your module. Thx for you effort! I have one question: Is there any possibility to get data for several lists and sort them under the name of the list ? (like before with Wunderlist) .
-
Hello,
I am having trouble setting up this module. At the point refresh token generation I am failing.
https://github.com/thobach/MMM-MicrosoftToDo/#refresh-token-generation-refresh-token
1). Open terminal app -> I tried the windows console, powershell and secure shell (on the PI), but everywhere I receive just errors as output.
Can someone give some guidance. Thanks.
-
@andyyy What error message do you get? Are you on Windows 10 which should have curl pre-installed? I updated the readme file to replace the space symbols with %20 as that seemed to have caused issues for some. Please make sure to preserve the ’ symbol at the end of the call.
-
@binderth The refresh happens every 60s. I don’t plan to implement a fade-option, sorry, it would require quite some effort given the current implementation.
-
@Jan You’re welcome. Have you tried adding the module multiple times in the config file with different
listIdvalues? -
@binderth Did the tips from @ThaliaFromPrussia (https://forum.magicmirror.builders/post/68615) work for you to see what error you are getting on the magic mirror front-end?
-
@thobach Thx for your reply. Your solution has not exactly the effect what i want, but it works fine for me ;-)

curl -X POST https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/v2.0/token
Length RequiredLength Required
HTTP Error 411. The request must be chunked or have a content length.
I am sure curl is installed since other modules with OAuth are working as well.
