      Thank you Sam

      These are the errors

Seems, the access on those links not possible.
When I manually click on those links, I see them.

(Do I have a problem with port 8080 being blocked and used by other applications)

I may ask stupid questions. Please be patient with a beginner like me…

But I see a lot of users having similar problems after latest updates.

    • Setup from scratch for beginners?

      Hi there

I really appreciate all the work you guys put in the software and the help in the forums.

I am an absolute beginner with raspberry pi. And it is 30 years ago I did some pascal programming. (Yes at Highschool I got an A+ - but this helps little here in real life).

So I went through the very detailed step by step tutorial to setup Magic Mirror. Easy enough, I thought.

Unfortunately I get a black screen when running MM.
So I went through all the forum to see how to possibly set up Magic Mirror and getting no blank screen. Going back to older versions of software did not help.

Is there any chance there will be a new step by step setup tutorial which will lead to a running system sometime soon?

And again, I admire your commitment and your efforts. And will gladly consider a donation.

I redid the installation of raspbian and the setup of MagicMirror software 3 times. Some frustration coming up and not yet the good feeling overcoming those obstacles…

      4.19.34-v/+ #1211
      Caspian GNU Linux 9
      MM all non-default modules disabled

tried with latest electron and with electron beta.

So right now, a Magic Mirror may not be set up with the help of the step by step tutorial, right? As there is ongoing troubles with latest electron versions?

      Thank you very much
