The HW and networking part is all done. They’re mounted and able to access a website and I can point them to a central Docker web server already.

I was thinking, can I containerize each persons display and just customize each container to display their info?

iPad was a decision because we had a lot of older Air models ready or replacement, plus we’re a non-profit supporting iPads for education. So it “looks the part.”

I guess my biggest issue is creating CSS that looks good landscape. I’m not very creative.

Is there a place to post a bounty or request for help? It’s a long story but I need help demonstrating MM for an Innovation Concept. We are a non-profit setting up in a new office and we have mounted iPads (powered by POE enclosures) outside each office. We’d love to show our personal info (picture, contact info, QR Code with Contact Card), iCloud or Google Calendar for the day, etc on a well designed landscape display. Jane and such is priced out for us.

Anyone got any ideas?

This is amazing collaboration. Anyone interested in hammering out a CSS/Config that would work well for an FBO or Flight Ops Office to coincide with this module? We have the Base Ops Office here, and its needed a good weather, NOTAMS, Ops Notes display for visiting people. I am pretty sure every FBO out there would love to have something too.

Would be nice to config it up to where its just change ICAO and surrounding field ICAOs to get a workable display.

We have actually talked recently about how we’d display an Airfield Diagram, but color code the RCR for all the Taxi-ways. We have limits to where we can taxi on Ice/Slush here in the Midwest, so it’d be nice to visualize. However, I haven’t begun to figure out how to crack that nut. (STS). :)

Anything I can to help? Im actually an Air Force aviator trying to get a module like this for our Operations Center.

There is a universal coding standard for METARS in the Flight Information Handbook (FIH).

Also, I’d stick to ICAO identifiers as they automatically include international.

If you use the API from NOAA: https://aviationweather.gov/metar/data?ids=Rodn&format=raw&date=0&hours=0, the results always come imperial.

I was using terrible words to describe, how I would actually like to use MagicMirror as more of an interactive Digital Signage platform. So leaving the Middle part open for Mirror is a waste of usable to space to me. Is that possible via CSS?

Curious, and I might be in the wrong section…

I’m wanting to try using several modules but using this as a full screen digital signage option. How can I get the most use of the whole screen?
