i had several of these happen just now:

MMM-NetworkScanner received SCAN_NETWORK
MMM-NetworkScanner is performing arp-scan
Whoops! There was an uncaught exception...
TypeError: Cannot read property 'network' of undefined
    at Class.scanNetworkMAC (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-NetworkScanner/node_helper.js:42:36)
    at Class.socketNotificationReceived (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-NetworkScanner/node_helper.js:30:18)
    at Socket.<anonymous> (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/node_modules/node_helper/index.js:113:11)

    at Socket.emit (events.js:214:7)
    at /home/pi/MagicMirror/node_modules/socket.io/lib/socket.js:528:12
    at _combinedTickCallback (internal/process/next_tick.js:132:7)

MagicMirror will not quit, but it might be a good idea to check why this happened. Maybe no internet connection?

So I still get access denied, but if i change

ipWhitelist to [] then my phone can now access the remote page.

Just dont understand when I have address the correct ip for my phone it says access denied to that same ip in the terminal

Changed:

ipWhitelist: [ "127.0.0.1", "::ffff:127.0.0.1", "::1", "::ffff:10.100.10.1",],

To:

ipWhitelist: []

I’m really sorry… but I cannot work out how to just have the wifi signal? I couldnt see this “type” anywhere in the documentation?

If i’m being really dumb… i hold my hands up…

Hi, i too have the same issue. I have changed my router IP to be something other than 192.XXX.X.XX

Could this be the problem? I can access via browser on the Pi…?

When i run the remote in browser on the pi, i notice in terminal this message:

MMM-Remote-Control customMenu Requested, but file:/home/pi/MagicMirror/config/custom_menu.json was not found

i receive an “Access Denied to IP address 10.100.10.1” in terminal and a message on m y phone saying the device is not allowed to access your mirror

Hi there, hope you can help… i have tried everything and cannot get this to work. I just receive the “NO DEVICES ONLINE” message…(been working on it for two days)

But as i was writing this message… and inserting my config code i noticed my config said “device:”

Just changed it to “devices:” and now it works… god knows why i had “device”… i dont know if this is in some code somewhere haha

If others are having trouble or getting error messages… just double check that haha… oh man feel like an idiot…
