Hey, I thought this was a cool project, so I have created something like that. You can find it under https://github.com/choffmann/MMM-YT-SubCount.

I hope this is what you wanted. I don’t know how exactly you want the number of the subscription, but the Google API rounded the value down, so 12,345 will shown as 12300 or 12.3K.
