@wwats Hi mate, did you manage to make this module work? I am kind of the opinion that it could be linked to the fact that BMW changed the login landing page. Before it was www.bmw-connecteddrive.uk or .ch or .com etc.
Now I guess this has changed to a more unifying page which if you click login you get a popup. I don’t know but I can think this could be part of the issue. Same time I struggle with it as it apparently works for others. It would be nice if, who ever has the module running right now, could share his setup or what he changed to make it happen. Edit: By the way, tried to reach out to the creator of this module via insta and twitter. No chance. He never came back.

@sdetweil Between us, to be honest I dont even know. I just remember that all of a sudden from one day to the other my BMW Connected App didnt work and so did the Unsplash connection resulting in showing no background immages in my walberry module.

Since this I also have issues with my monitor running into this black screen mode where you can still see the cursor.

Tried the hack with installing the screensave thingee but didnt help so far.

I guess this is led to installing some modules which might update some core data in the background as well. Maybe a new version of python or so was installed in the background and this led to issues. I have no idea as i am an absolut noob.

Maybe others had also the same issues and know how to handle.

Dear Friends, as I don’t know how this is called, I didn’t find anything which would help me. Therefore, I decided to open a new topic.

Since a few weeks, my perfectly working MM started to enter into a kind of sleep mode where the screen blacks out and the mouse cursor is visible. This never happened before. I guess it started with an update a couple of weeks ago.

Any idea? Any fixes?

@duxnobis Found the module, but even using the demo config entry it does not show up but give me an error on the mirror. Anyone info about if this still works?

I know it’s been a while since this was used last time but I decided to give it a try. Where can I find this module?

@cowboysdude Thanks. Even though, the solution came from some one else. ;-) I just thought its good to post it here as well in case someone looks exactly for this issue. Anyway. I don’t know what you mean by add it to the repository but if someone does, feel free to add this. Cheers everyone.

for all out there as stupid as I am… 🙂 its this which has to be modified from .custom to .raw (row 130 in my WallberryTheme.js file).

from:
p.url = photoData.urls.custom;

to:
p.url = photoData.urls.raw;

Anyone experiencing issues with the Wallberry Unsplash app? Since a few weeks unsplash is not loading any pictures.

Hi. Would it be possible to have something like the publishing date added to the list of Modules on Github and the sorting by date option? This would in my eyes facilitate the search of “new” modules.

Example. Every now and then I check about new weather modules. I have to go through all the existing ones and see if one pops out of the list just by going through the list. This is very annoying. It would be nice to have a sorting option to sort the modules by publishing date AND by update date. Lets say an existing module got an update, I would like to know that and check if the module now fits my needs.

Hope I am not the only one looking for this.

Appreciate if everyone who is interested in this would add a :thumbs_up_light_skin_tone: comment to this topic.

Strava…hmm…does it get data from runtastic or is it an own app? Dont want to switch app to be honest. I was thinking that if we can sync calendars from iCloud why should we not get health data?

Is there any module which can show data from some of the most important run apps? Like runtastic? Or also data from the iPhone itself…heart beat rate, training data etc.

Hi Guys. Sorry I might be stupid but I get how the “other cities” work and I have for example LA as timezone US/Pacific, or New York as US/Eastern. But how the heck do I add other cities like Melbourne? Singapore? What does the module need as timezone? I tried SST for Singapore, AEDT for Melbourne and so on…nothing works. Any Idea?

Hi. Does anyone have issue with syncing the “Reminders” from iCloud? I can sync all calendars very good. New ones, old ones, delete and add etc. all ok. When I do discover I see the lists from Reminders. Can I sync them and can I show them also in the calendar app? I see the Reminders name has a sign behind the name while all calendars dont.

If I copy paste its like this “Erinnerungen ⚠️”
Erinnerungen is German for Reminders.

I have added it to the vdirsync config like this

item_types = ["VEVENT", "VTODO"]

@sdetweil I tried to uninstall chromium and reinstall. Same. I decrease resolution to 1080p and the Pi speeds up a little I have to admit. The youtube though is still choppy.

SSD? I dont know mate. I dont want to have too many devices behind the monitor if I can avoid.

I think it must exist something else which could speed up the system. :-(
