The mirrors will arrive today :)
I took today off to pack all the mirrors immediately and neatly into the already prefabricated wooden boxes and in the optimum case to bring them to the post office this afternoon or tomorrow morning :)

Maybe one or the other has then the mirror before the weekend in his hands ;)

For your information: Depending on the shipping service I have to wrap an additional cardboard box around the wooden box. This has no function and is only prescribed to avoid wood splinters or the like. So don’t be surprised if the mirror arrives at your place and this cardboard wrapping is damaged due to the often not squeamish handling of the parcel carriers. The only important thing is that the wooden box itself has no massive visible damage :) If the box has such damage, I ask you to document this immediately upon receipt together with the parcel carrier, so that in the event of a claim can be made on the shipping insurance ;)

Okay, since there is probably interest I would like to give an update at this point, even if it is probably relatively uninformative for you :)

The delivery of the mirrors to me is announced for the week of 07 - 11.06.
Until then, I will definitely have the boxes ready, so that I only have to pack the mirrors safely and “nail them up” afterwards. However, the box construction is much more elaborate this time, because many of you wanted to exhaust the maximum size in all different dimensions and therefore I have to build a lot of special boxes. I cannot (as usual) fall back on 3-4 standard dimensions in order to build at least a few identical boxes. Every frame part, every cut, etc. is individual ;) More different dimensions, cuts, etc. But I’m fully involved and everything is going according to plan :)

And no, unfortunately the missing payments were never received and I will probably be sitting on two mirrors again…

unfortunately not all of you managed to pay…
I did it again and have now made advance payments again because I believe in the good in people and the community. these are entries that have been on the list for a very, very long time. It would be disappointing for those concerned if the respective entries had to wait for the next bulk order and I don’t want to annoy anyone. It is a total of two mirrors that have not yet been paid for. I hope I made the right decision…

Now the good News: I commissioned the production of the mirrors this morning :) the production time is currently 4-5 weeks. In the meantime I am already building all the shipping boxes so that the mirrors can be sent out to you all within 2-3 days of arriving at my place :)

How much time we will wait for those who haven’t paid yet? I don’t know other people, but I’m waiting since the last community order back in June 2020, and I’m quite anxious to get finally mine. And now we finally have a closed list, waiting for people to pay is a bit infuriating.
Could you please set a time deadline for those who didn’t pay yet? I found a lack of respect to make wait 15 people for 2 without a deadline. I would find reasonable to wait until the end of this month, it would be almost an entire month timeframe, in my opinion I think it is time more than sufficient.

I have already set a deadline for the people until this sunday. I am sorry, but since the mirrors are custom-made, I have to collect the money beforehand. Such a community order is also based on trust, loyalty and responsibility to others. Unfortunately, there are always outliers. but you also have to consider that those maybe have also waited a long time and are then disappointed when they are thrown off the list because of a vacation or similar and they have not noticed the start of the order.

In the past, I went in advance with the payment in such cases, but unfortunately I was left sitting on the mirror and the money a few times (people have not contacted me at all or had no more money). And to sell a custom-made mirror with very special dimensions elsewhere is very difficult. Therefore, I no longer go with the payment in advance.

I will keep you up to date. but since not all payments have been received I cannot have the mirrors produced yet. it lasts as something else.

Small intermediate result:
Unfortunately, 5 incoming payments are currently missing. I would like to ask the affected users to complete the payment as soon as possible so that I can finally order and those who have already paid do not have to wait that long :)
