    • RE: Web view

@yawns Can I interact with the web view (i.e. go to different pages, etc.) or is it just static?

    • RE: IR frame or Touch-foil

@broberg Thanks again for the quick answer. Just wondering, are there any slim IR frames that can be hidden inside of the case? I will definitely start looking for an IR-frame now though.

    • Web view

Is there any way to make a web view? I would like to control all of my smart home devices once I build a Magic Mirror. For example, could I have a view that is always set to the Amazon Alexa website (amazon.alexa.com)? I am planning to build a mirror with an IR frame so I can interact with it.

@broberg Thanks for the answer but are there other types of mirrors that can be used with MagicMirror besides metallic coated mirrors? Also, would touch foils or IR-frames work with them?

    • IR frame or Touch-foil

I have been looking through the hardware section, but I couldn’t find anything that actually said which would be better, an IR frame or touch-foil. I was planning on using a RPi3 but if I need more power, I will get a board. Also, I haven’t bought any glass or a screen yet, seeing as they might not be compatible.

Bonus: if any screens work with either IR frames or touch-foils and support HDMI CEC from the board, please do me a favor and reply with the name.
