      @magicinme which pi? maybe pi4… I have updated the MMM-ImagesPhotos module to do opacity transitions and also blurring around the edges. its not always in sync, and sometimes the blurred background drowns out everything else…(cpu wise) I see the same glitches on my i7-2600k linux desktop electron doesn’t use the gpu i also have a jetson nano (arm64) and odroid (arm7 like pi) , both faster than 4, but still show the glitches. I’ve spent about a year working on different changes to improve the performance, and while I’ve got significant improvement blur kills it (but I like it!)

      @magicinme those are Microsoft-isms. I put code in node-ical and mm to handle, but the definitions aren’t parsed. the supporting nodejs libs don’t understand custom timezones, so I convert to iana tz.
