RE: How I got my Magic Mirror working on a Raspberry Pi 0 (zero)
@justindp2006 so you followed the guide and entered you ssid and password?
You could try the terminal commandsudo raspi-configAnd set up wifi via the on screen menu.
Failing that u could set up a wpa supplicant file and insert it in your sd card

RE: How I got my Magic Mirror working on a Raspberry Pi 0 (zero)
@greenwaydev Here is a great tutorial that can help you learn your way around MM.
https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/236/complete-setup-tutorial/6I would recommend, once you get your MM configured the way you like to make a back up of it using win32 disk imager (make sure .img is on the end of the file or it won’t save as a disc image). That way if you mess up your SD card somehow you have a back up to use.

RE: How I got my Magic Mirror working on a Raspberry Pi 0 (zero)
@greenwaydev I’m thinking you aren’t making the adjustment in the right location (possibly).
Try this from terminal:
sudo nano /boot/config.txtand add the following to the file. Where you add it doesn’t really matter:
# Rotate display virtically display_rotate=0 -
RE: How I got my Magic Mirror working on a Raspberry Pi 0 (zero)
@greenwaydev
So what I did was format the sd card and use win32 disc imager to flash the sd card, put it my my Pi Zero and it worked.
After install I got rid of some stuff via the config file as I didn’t want all that stuff on my MM.
Cheers! -

RE: Help! Probem using PIR Sensor on raspberry pi zero to turn on/off screen
@Mykle1 Good day!
That’s interesting, I have MMM stock working on my Pi3. I am running an older version of Jessie though.
For you know of any stock ticker that would work on Pi Zero?Thanks,
Mike -
RE: Help! Probem using PIR Sensor on raspberry pi zero to turn on/off screen
@randomnoise
Hey! Thanks for getting back to me.
My MM works pretty well, can’t get MMM stock to work though.
My major problem is getting my PIR sensor to function properly. I have it working properly on a pi3 but not the zero.
What code did u use for your PIR?Thanks,
Mike -
RE: Help! Probem using PIR Sensor on raspberry pi zero to turn on/off screen
