installation without ssh
i’m currently (trying) installing magicmirror onto my pi but i can’t ssh into it (keeps timing out) so i’m trying to download and install directly from the pi interface(correct term?) itself.
i’m following this guide-https://www.magicmirrorcentral.com/complete-raspberry-pi-magic-mirror-tutorial/
and i’m skipping step 5,when i type thisi nto the pi-bash -c "$(curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MichMich/MagicMirror/master/installers/raspberry.sh)"nothing happens,i just get another line that says pi@mirror:~ $,any ideas what i’m doing wrong? -

aurora forecast
i’d be interested in a module that shows a forecast/prediction for the aurora australis by location,i’m located in southern new zealand.
heres a typical forecast i found-https://cdn.softservenews.com/free-member/aurora-borealis-forecast-3-day-bar.html-just not sure how the info could be best presented -
beginner questions
hi all,
i’m new to magicmirror and pi in general, apologies if this has been answered,i searched but didn’t find the answer.
i’ve been playing around with the magicmirror for the past day or 2 and i like what i see but i’m wondering if it can do what i want to achieve…
what i’m trying to achieve is a touchscreen mounted in my kitchen with all the usual stuff such as calender, weather, news ticker etc. i want a web browser for looking up recipes etc and be able to add notes and entries into the calendar but i don’t want a physical keyboard but one that pops up onscreen the way it does on phones and tablets.
is this possible at the moment?
cheers
