Hi
I am building a magic mirror into a bathroom wall.
I see others suggest disassembling monitors to get the LCD out but is this just to save space? I have no space issues as can sink into wall so what’s the disadvantage of just using the complete monitor? Is it a problem having small gap from monitor screen to mirror caused by bezel?
The glass I am using is pilkington mirroview. I will paint mask outside monitor view
Also can magic mirror be rotated to whatever orientation is required? I need to mount my hardware now without having research software yet and will be putting monitor in portrait orientation. Can I adjust magic mirror to whichever way I end up fitting the monitor?
Thanks
Russ
