@schwarem can you show the messages from npm start where the deault calendar module says how many events it broadcast.
like
Calendar-Fetcher: Broadcasting 11 events from https://ics.calendarlabs.com/76/mm3137/US_Holidays.ics.

@Kelemvor can you look at the messages from where you do npm start…
if using pm2 to autostart mm, then use the command
pm2 logs --lines=50
50 can be any number bigger than 15
you are looking for the calendar module to say broadcast xxx events
@Ashaman cool. understand that this problem happens whenever multiple modules use the same script library.
I discovered it with QR code. my module and WiFipassword collided over different versions. wifipassword uses an older version and hasn’t been updated.i wanted to use a feature in a newer version
so much fun…
@schwarem ok, try the prior parser
cd ~/MagicMirror
npm install node-ical@0.16.1
restart MagicMirror
@Ashaman why? cause the initialization order matters to chartjs.
again, they would never see two apps on the same web page in normal life. in different tabs, sure, but those are different instances
@Ashaman I don’t know. but I suspect no. I would guess they clear the list on a new instance.
I have not used any plugins
yes for combining modules
@Ashaman no cannot encapsulate a lib to only one module
@schwarem bug in 2.26, maximumEntries not by calendar url… only overall, above the calendars list
@jonnyollet the default calendar module does not get the Google calendar event colors in the ICS data. it is not part of the interchange standards.
so the only thing we can send is the URL configured colors.
the custom event config colors are not used until display time so they are not available when the broadcast is done
