@checkit, yes these recent days I have seen this error as well… I am looking around for another source.
I will update the module as soon as I found one.
I noticed that entire parts of this server became unavailable, looks like nothing good is happening there atm.
Yes, I was willing to do that, but I need to have some post in my blog to link images in ;-)
and here it is with no Header in the config:
and this one, with a Header information:
Enjoy!
After creating a login for you at the food2fork, you can get your own API code, the free access will provide 500 requests per day, which is more than enough to run the module nonstop , updating by the hour…
The APIkey at the example configuration is not for real.
You can get the key, after register, here: http://food2fork.com/about/api
not sure if it makes a whole lot of difference, but I removed one there :D

Now you can add a picture of the current moon phase on your Magic Mirror.
Based on the simplicity of mmm-weatherchart , this module will fetch an image from whatever website that updates the moon phase everyday and keeps the image name the same. Currently I am using: http://api.usno.navy.mil/imagery/moon.png
The maximum size of the image can be up to 1024x1024, by default this is set to 200x200.
I recommend using it without any header , so you have a beautiful sole moon picture wherever you want :)
It can be dowloaded from: https://github.com/spectroman/mmm-moon-phases
