    • RE: Avoid "HDMI" splash screen on PIR control

      @sdetweil ok.
I still have the remote from the board, will check if there is a standby function there.
      Will update you here.

    • Avoid "HDMI" splash screen on PIR control

Re: PIR Sensor - Sleep LCD monitor

      Hello.
I found this interesting topic on the forum, but couldn’t find a solution to the “HDMI” screen popping up whnever I turn on my Screeen device.

I’m using the standart board to use old Laptop screens.

      Any advices?

    • [Glass] Mixed solution: glass + film

      Hello MM Forum.

I’ve just bought two very old-looking mirrors, and I’m planning to build two twins magic mirrors.

Have been doing mirrors since a long time, and still have plenty of film from previous installations.

What I think was missing from previous experiences of mine (and what I want to avoid here) is the distortion film makes for bigger installations.

My solution is to use the mirrors inside the one I bought, by removing the Aluminium OR silver coating (where I’m going to place the monitor) while keeping the mirror as it is where elsewhere.

I’ll then place the film on all the mirror (or just on the glassy part).

Some insights about the chemical process:

Doubts / Facts? (will be updating this section based on your feedback):

      1. the edges between actual mirror and film mirror are possibly going to be super visible / evident

Has anyone of you tried this direction?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.
