      MM reports being 119 commits behind. OK!
      Went to https://docs.magicmirror.builders/getting-started/upgrade-guide.html
      Did the suggested backups OK
      Went to :~/MagicMirror $ entered git pull && npm install --only=prod --omit=dev

      Got this: fatal: Unable to read current working directory: No such file or directory

      Looked at sdetweil’s script, not sure from the instructions if it need to be
      run from :~/MagicMirror $ or elsewhere?

      Thank you.

        I now have coloured icons in the calendar:

        2cde94cd-45ff-48af-a9d0-2d1a6f1bcdee-image.png

        Code now looks like this:

        /* Calendar: config.js set to  symbol: 'fa-light fa-calendar', */
        .calendar .fa-calendar-day {
          color: #00d255 /* 55=Green FF=Blue */
        }

        /* Calendar: config.js set to  symbol: 'fa-light fa-trash-can', */
        .calendar .fa-trash  {
          color: #C97F7F /* Brown */
        }

          @Richard238 You can run Sam’s script from pretty much anywhere. I usually run it from the MagicMirror folder.

          Check out my modules at: https://github.com/mumblebaj?tab=repositories
          Check my blog-post: https://mumblebaj.xyz/

            @Richard238 my script is made to run from anywhere… it 'assume’s you are NOT in the MagicMirror folder

            so, its simple… open a command prompt and paste…

            note that upgrade is a 2 part process… (You wouldn’t want me destroying your work for something u forgot about, right?)

            so, 1st run TESTS the ability to apply the update, but makes NO changes to anything running.
            it reports… files changed but might be overlayed… etc…
            if all is good and u feel comfortable,
            then you run it a second time with the ‘apply’ parameter

            to actually DO the upgrade process

                          Then did

                          pm2 start all

                          and now have a black screen on the Pi, and ‘Unable to connect’ on the desktop browser. :-(

                            @Richard238 not pm2 start all

                            pm2 status

                            will show u the defined apps

                            pm2 start ??

                            where ?? is the name of the number of the app
                            (usually 0)

                            pm2 stop all just is a shortcut

                            pm2 --help shows u all the things it can do.

                            but the black screen could be because of the module rebuild failure

                            pm2 logs – lines=100 might show more info

                            and then there’s this

                              @Richard238 said in Updating did nothing but gave fatal error warning.:

                              MMM-MysqlQuery

                              MMM-MysqlQuery seems to be the issue, I’ve commented it out of config .js,
                              Will that be ok if I try pm2 start again?

                                  OK that’s brought MM back to life, but my custom CSS seems to have been ignored.

                                  That, and I need new weather modules?!

                                    @Richard238 you need to change to the new combined weather module…(announced 2 releases ago)

                                    supposedly change the module name field to weather and change the appid field name to apiKey
                                    custom.css should still be there… I save and restore

                                      custom.css is still there, but the coloured icons I had beside calendar entries are no longer showing.

                                        @sdetweil Weather module changes worked.
                                        They needs adjusting, but it is now showing something so it’s a good start I can work from.

                                            Colour, with a u! I’m British using British English! ;-)

                                            OK, CSS. It’s only using favicon codes, not images on a URL

                                             #module_3_calendar .fa.fa-calendar-check-o {

                                             #module_4_calendar  .fa.fa-trash-o  {
