@sdetweil I just did that?
Is that correct? yes.
-
@Max-0 but you did not set the debug in config.js first
-
@sdetweil If you mean to add “DEBUG” in the config list, i did that but i can do it again and send you another mail
-
yes. there should be about 1000 lines of output in the file
-
@sdetweil I’ve definitely set Debug to the log level list, but I’m still getting those same some file.txt lines
-
@Max-0 show me the loglevel from config.js, should look line this
logLevel: ["INFO", "LOG", "WARN", "ERROR", "DEBUG"], -
@sdetweil here

-
@Max-0 ok, when you run npm start you should see stuff like this

@sdetweil If you mean this should be in the somefile.txt, I double checked your instructions and did it a few times but I´m getting over and over the same text in the file! But I do not fully understand what you mean by 1 event in the calendar. Also when I check the dev console in the mirror, there are some errors which say "Refused to apply style "/“Error on loading stylesheet: css/custom.css” (Idk if that is important)
-
@Max-0 I am just showing 1 event from the debug log
-
@Max-0 do
pm2 stop all cd ~/MagicMirror npm start >somefile.txt -
@sdetweil without the 2>&1 behind the npm command, I´m getting less information than before! (is it important for the words int he command to be bold?)
-
@Max-0 no bold in any of my command strings… command prompt doesn’t do bold anyhow…
got no idea where u are having trouble. this is the simplest command set ever
-
I tried to delete and reinstall the whole programm. But now it won´t even start anymore and the last message in the terminal is “MESA-LOADER: failed to retrieve device information”
-
@Max-0 that is just noise… no impact to MM
did you use my install script?
-
nvm, got it working, but nevertheless thx
