            As I know, there is no field of “category” in iCalendar event object format by RFC.
            If you use any ical program like google cal, osx calendar, Outlook, all of them are considering separate calendars per category(color). You can use red ‘home’ events and blue ‘office’ events together, but they are independent calendars with each other. They have their own separated .ics url.

              So, you can import your ‘home’ calendar and ‘office’ calendar into a mm calendar module. Then, these two kinds of events are mixed. If you want to display them separately, just use mm calendar module twice. One for your ‘office’ and the other for ‘home’.
