I’m hoping someone is developing a module for google analytics to implement in the magic mirror. I just finished setting my configuration up, but thought, hey what if i could see my costumers real time threough analytics module :)

I wrote a script to query data with Node.js from Googles Analytics Core Reporting API. The script and setup description is available here.

@SvenSommer thanks a lot for your effort.
Unfortunatelly I can’t see anything beside the header on my Mirror. I tried two different APIs Logins, also checked the ViewID several times and tried to get it work with the standard settings for the config. But still it shows just the header on the screen. Also Debug Mode active does not bring any data to the mirror.

• ViewID is correct

• API Access was given

• Email Adress is correct

• Permission in Analytics was given for Viewing

Can you please advise, maybe you had this issue before.

I have tried this on multiple installations and it just seems broken. Maybe google changed the API or something. I also do not think the original creator is coming back.

There should be a way to mark projects dead. I wasted a good bit of time on this.
