Should I switch to Magic Mirror?

Right now I am using the dakboard system which is locked down.
I have the 7 inch touch screen and want to be able to display photos (from a dropbox or cloud) as the background, and contain the Date and calendar info. Would it be worth it to switch over to MagicMirror ? -
@Axor of course you should! Especially if you like messing with computer and home automation

@axor I had installed a Dakboard. then I found a link to MagicMirror.
Now I am hooked to MagicMirror the best there is. -
@Axor I really like dakboard, but you can achieve almost (if not) everything with MagicMirror.
