            In case someone else has this problem, instead of rebooting just run the following in your terminal:

            kill -9 $(lsof -t -i :8080)
            

            That’ll kill the current process on port 8080.

              or kill all node related

              ps -ef | grep node | awk  '{print $2}' | xargs kill -9
