        I din’t use a MM Module, because that didn’t work for me. I like the mirror to blank even if MM is not running. So I use this alternative Python script.

                @bmadeira were you a beginner when you first tried this? I ruined my last Pi when I tried to hook up the PIR sensor.

                    i wrote an complete example recently and added it to my module:
                    HC-SR501 PIR Example

                    I translated it to german language as well: HC-SR501 PIR Beispiel
