      Interesting. I changed nothing other than the name of the picture I wanted to test with. I’ll dig back into it, thank you for your responses.
      My apologies for delayed response, I haven’t had much time for personal projects lately.

        I had a similar issue. I added a comma to the end of the line “sounds:”

                    {
                            module: "MMM-EasyPix",
                            position: "middle_center",
                            config: {
                                    picName: "DSC01423.JPG", // Enter the picture file name.
                                    maxWidth: "75%", // Size picture precisely. Retains aspect ratio.
                                    sounds: ["1.mp3", "me2.mp3"], // mp3 sound file names in quotes seperated by commas for Hello-Lucy
                                    updateInterval: 30 * 60 * 1000,      // updates display
                                    animationSpeed: 3000,
                            }
                    },

        Hope this helps

        Would love to know how to have a slide show without having to create a list in the config.js file.

          Good catch! Thanks for bringing that to my attention, mate. :thumbsup: I’ve updated the readme example.

          Would love to know how to have a slide show without having to create a list in the config.js file.

          Again, this module was really only meant to be an accessory to Hello-Lucy so there was no need for the slideshow. However, this module

          https://github.com/AdamMoses-GitHub/MMM-ImageSlideshow

          does an excellent job of run a slideshow of your pictures.

              @Stoffbeuteluwe

              There are no mp4 files in use by MMM-EasyPix. Are you talking about the animated face (face.gif)?

                @Stoffbeuteluwe autoplay is a new restriction in the browsers… you have to click on something… dumb for a mirror with no mouse!!

                fix

                edit the smart-mirror/main.js
                find the line

                let mainWindow

                and change it so it looks like this

                let mainWindow;

                function createWindow() {
                    app.commandLine.appendSwitch('autoplay-policy', 'no-user-gesture-required');  //< -------- added

                then save and restart MM
