    Hi all

I have connected a 24" Viewsonic with touch to my PI where I have installed MagicMirror.
The screen and touch is working, but when I turn the screen to horizontal the touch is not following and is still in landscape mode, is there any way to flip the touch so it is working in horizontal?

@soylant a lot of people who use the official raspberry pi touchscreen talk about this. Because the display is upside when you put it in many cases. You need to go into /boot/config.txt and add a line lcd_rotate=2 as an example for 180 degrees. not display rotate display will rotate the image but not touch input.

I have not been able to get a touchscreen to work in a portrait mode because I’ve read that there’s not enough memory or something to support it.

Instead of rotating the display in the OS, just rotate the magicmirror webpage with css.

That way you don’t change the screens rotation and thus don’t need to rotate the touch interface.
