    I’m confused as to how to rotate the screen now.

    PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)"
    NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux"
    VERSION_ID="10"
    VERSION="10 (buster)"
    VERSION_CODENAME=buster

    How do you do it with this OS Version? The documentation confuses me because of all the “If this OS/driver then …”

    I’m using defaults for video driver, other than locking the resolution because I turn off the screen when not in use, and the device reboots nightly for other software running on it.

    The "E" in "Javascript" stands for "Easy"

      I’ve added the following line to /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE-pi

      @xrandr --output HDMI-1 --rotate right

      YMMV, you might have to fiddle with it to suit your rotation and output.
