All modules are not on MichMich/MagicMirror/wiki/3rd-party-modules
-
Hello,
Unless I’m mistaken, I have the impression that all the modules available for the MM are not listed in the different Categories of MichMich’s github page (https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror/wiki/3rd- party-modules).
For example I sometimes see requests for help on the page https: //forum.magicmirror.builders/category … concerning modules that I cannot find on https://github.com/MichMich/ MagicMirror / wiki / 3rd-party-modules.
is there a reason for this?
how to find all these other modules on github? -
@RIKKO14 the 3rd party list is voluntary.
you can search on GitHub with terms like MagicMirror and module. you get a 1000 results. some are not what you are looking for.
-
@RIKKO14 There’s a couple reasons for this:
- The module author didn’t add their module to the page. (it’s editable by anyone)
- The module has been removed from the list by author or other person for reasons.
Basically, the list isn’t inclusive, and nobody really maintains the list against anything else. I personally use 2 different modules that aren’t even released. :)
Really, this forum is the best place to find out about modules.
