    Hi!

    Here’s my finished mirror.

    Made a youtube-video aswell if you wanna hear me talk about it. Mainly some construction tips. Youtube video

    Material

    Frame: Plank normally used to frame door openings. Good to get a natural depth to the frame.
    Glass: Mirastar 6mm 100x58 cm
    Screen: Samsung Sync Master 24" LCD. Found on second hand.
    Server: Raspberry Pi 3
    Speakers: 10$ computer speakers,
    Modules: Time, Weather, Compliments, Openhab floorplan (modified to also show avatars connected to my VPN server.

        @lillaeriika if u add a small extension cord/power bar, you can have only 1 wire out from the frame to the wall

              @cyberphox Google for TRUST Leto 2.0 Speaker Set. Like 10$. I removed the casing to get them more slim. I rarely use them but i like the idea of beeing able to output some sounds.

                @sdetweil True! I bought an on-wall cord cover to cover the cables. Looks quite good. I will post a picture of that…
