I also would like to order a mirror glas. As i’m living also in schweinfurt, i would pick it up by my own. When I have my needed size i will make a additional comment.

I’m in too. I have to measure once again, but it’ll be a bit more than 0.2m² (~0.4m * 0.5m). So I’ll pay 0.4m².

Before xmas It will probably not work, I’m sorry. As I said in my first post the production and delivery time from the glass producer to me is about three weeks. Unfortunately we have no more three weeks until christmas. -

As I see it we gathered around 7 qm in about 2 weeks. Maybe at the end of the year we will have enough to get the next cheaper price level as most of us can wait(?).
My problem actually is that building a mirror with a 24" doesn’t give me enough ‘required’ area for 0,4qm…
What size of a monitor would you recommend?

@lolobyte You are sympathetic, I Love Audi. I think it is the best car manufacturer in the world. I also drive an Audi, but without any trunk (the Motor need some Space there) and with only 2 seats 😃

The size of the monitor depends on the personal preferences. There are people who also use a 60 inch TV 😃 -

i can pick up some more mirrors. For example for people from Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Ludwigshafen, maybe for Koblenz and Cologne then forwarding to Mannheim or Ludwigshafen…

I’m on vacation currently. As written in my last post I will definitely order one of these mirrors, however I can not measure the size before Friday. It is approximately 0.5m * 0.4m

Are there any new Informations about shipping costs (to austria)
I´m quite interest for more pieces and size. Also some of my friends are interested.
But as you can imagine it´s all a question about (shipping) costs. The Price for the glass are quite fair but if shipping doubles it it will not make sense for us Austrians. -

According to dhl the shipping is about 20 euro. In addition there are still costs for packaging such as styrofoam plates and wood for the crate. I think overall it will cost around 30 euros. If several mirrors should be ordered, I can certainly pack these together. -
