Big 'core' file (1.3G)

Why is this file so big? Can it be pruned?
$ ls -hs MagicMirror/core 1.3G MagicMirror/core -

file MagicMirror/coreto see if it says something useful.
Then delete it.
Only worth debugging when it is created more often.
I suppose everything works okay, when not then one could investigate further. -
Thanks for the quick reply. I looked at the file details and the creation date. It’s from a while back and knowing now that its a core dump I’ll delete it.
