Not sure if this is the correct location on the forum to ask this, but I give it a try.
I have recently build a Mirror for my own and with great pleasure. Even better is that there are other people making add-ons/plugins/remote etc.
The thing is that that I’m not sure if I have choice the correct monitor and glass. Can you let me know: how did you selected your monitor/glass, how the finished result looked to you and what you think about my visibility off my mirror?

Monitor was: Mirai 419w210 with 6mm glass (from the Netherlands)
      English spec and Dutch specificatie.

I got enough picture for you, even off my build process. With post them as soon I got some time.
The used monitor is " Mirai 419w210" and this is the link where I ordered the mirror: http://www.xlglas.nl/Glas/Enkelglas/Spiegel/ConfrontatiespiegelGrijs.html?scat=606

If you don’t understand dutch, there is the translation off the website https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=nl&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xlglas.nl%2FGlas%2FEnkelglas%2FSpiegel%2FConfrontatiespiegelGrijs.html%3Fscat%3D606

Nice work. Witch HDMI to VGA adapter have you installed and witch resolution does it support?

                Its a lenovo laptop?

I have the x220 lenovo. Great thing. Works also with Hackintosh.

@lolobyte it was a china make product “HDMI to VGA Converter Adapter Cable-442739” and resolution is 1440x900 (WXGA+).

Im planning to make a 2.0 version with HDMI, 1080 resolution and extra that I see on the forum that I want to try out.

sorry for the really late reaction.

I know this is an old topic, but how do you like the mirror from XL-Glas? The image coming through from the monitor looks a bit dark, or is it bright enough?
