no integration of google family calendar and MM

Hello everyone,
my name is Oliver and I’m starting with the first step to the MM. I got the basic functions up and running - fine.
Now I’m trying to integrate our family calendar from google into MM and I have some issues with it.In Google setting I can’t find any information about die ical-address of the calendar. I tried the combination of Google calendar ID and public URL but nothing will work.
The standard calendar (US Holidays) works fine :-)
Has any one an idea how to integrate this? All informations I found here are pretty old >2 years and the settings in google changed meanwhile.

the calendar is not shareable via ics.
I have a family calendar like that, but I did not create it and cannot change the permissions

so this could be the answer. If I’m using a personal calendar, I get a private ical-address but not for the family calendar.
So I have to look for an other solution (personal calendar “Familiy”, invite other family member to look at,…)

@Landler get the creator of the calendar to change the permissions… that may make it ‘visible’ to outsiders

only the creator will see the public/private urls, unless it is marked public

Try using https://github.com/randomBrainstormer/MMM-GoogleCalendar for your family calendar. I added it to the modules list just now.
