I just re read your post ansy you mentioned Pilkington said they don’t use metallic coat.
I bought a Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome Spy from Germany, so probably the same you mentioned.
      Where you got that info?

they answered me this: “the delivered Mirropane is a chrome based mirror with metallic characteristics.”

      Thanks

@pnobrega It’s MirroView that doesn’t have metallic coat

I just received a sample of Mirrorworld Ultra Silver, I’ll post a review after some tests

So, Mirrorworld Ultra Silver (GX010) is really good ; better reflection than ChromeSpy because more “silver” and less “brown”, and a little better transmitance than Mirastar.

It’s a really little improvements, and it has a cost + a weight, only in 6mm, need a good frame (wood, …)

So, best choice if no touch foil and no need of great colors behind, and with a good hard frame (a lot heavier)

Hi @wibimaster I was looking at doing a very similar project to you.
How did you get on with the touch foil and mirror samples?

Hi, I saw your post and I m exactly in the same position.
I already bought a 24” touch foil. I tested with a transparent glass and it s working 100%. But when I put above the two way mirror glass…the touch foil doesn t work.
Can you please tell me what kind of glass do I have to use? I need to buil an oval magic mirror.

                Thanks
                Andrei
