      yes, the filename is config.js. It shows the default display config without my changes.

        @Perkinje do you have something at boot that copies config.js.sample to config.js? perhaps?

          @sdetweil nope, and when I reopen the config.js file my changes are still there.

            the file used for running is

            ~/MagicMirror/config/config.js

              @sdetweil Yes, it is. I don’t see how this is possible. I’ve checked the docker setup to confirm the location of the config/config.js and it is showing the file I’ve modified.

                  I’ve given up docker. Runs fine with standard install. I’ll try docker with my next MM.
