Hi, I would like to personalize the Compliments-Module with Paviros Facial Recognition-Module. Is there any posibility to use different Comliments for different users?

I guess if you use https://github.com/tosti007/MMM-ProfileSwitcher with FacialRecognition you can use different compliments. However this is untested.

@yawns @reaper81 my module only shows a message when you actually change user. You can customise this message (and set multiple) any way you want, but it’s only shown once as an notification

The way I understand what you want is that you want to use the compliment module as it is, but just like with the different times or weather you want to have some for a specific person?
I think that changing a default module for two other (non default) modules that not everybody is going to use is the best of ideas and is something that the people who are more involved in modifying the framework are too keen on doing so.

It would be possible to make a stand alone module, which would be a copy with some additional features.

@yawns do you have any other solutions? Since either of these two aren’t the best imo.

My understanding of your module was that you can add modules and assign class names so it is loaded only when the named user is logged in.
My approach was to add the compliments module several times, but with different compliment.json files
