Hi folks,
I was trying to build this like… forever, but today, I hooked it up the wall.It is magic, without the mirror though, because I didn’t like the quality in regards to readability from my old scrap panel, but it nevertheless looks awesome now.
It was a lot of work, as I started with reusing my virtual home server instead of dedicated rasppbery pi, and with a bigger monitor instead of a energy-efficient panel, and with a spy-glass, instead of regular glas… and at a different position…
But now I am using an old laptop screen that can to 720p, I use a dedicated raspberry pi (on the other side of the wall, it is the laundry-room) and regular 15€ picture frame with glass (easier to clean).
It is connected to openHAB, so the screen goes off when no moments in that area.Greetings!
