Hi all. I looked at a magicmirror setup a while ago. Being quite handy I was up and running and modding the configuration immediately. As I was playing I thought, and this is the question

Why not display a Web page instead of magicmirror?

I a mad, has this been suggested before. What am I missing? Don’t get me wrong I love the mm but surely a custom Web page can offer more module. Would love to hear everybody’s thoughts. Pros and cons

      Now for hardware,

I have recently discovered spray mirror. An aerosol can you can spray on glass. When you have finished the opposite side becomes a mirror.
Has anyone tried this yet? I realise it would not be a front surface mirror but as you control the amount of coats, then maybe you can control the visibility of the screen.

It could be a cheap alternative that still has glass results.

This is a great forum and I’ve seen some amazing mirrors.

Thanks for reading and I hope to have a chat soon

@firephly MagicMirror is effectively a website. Just custom designed.

As for the mirror spray, that’s something you should research independently.

@bkeyport right. MagicMirror is a web page presented by a browser. the key idea difference is no user clicking on content to make things happen.

          it unattended.
