My MagicMirror works fine for a few days and then the screen goes black. The errors in the log look like this:

@sdetweil long term update after trying a few things out, the MMM-GoogleMapsTraffic module was the culprit. I started going down the path of trying to update the javascript issues when I discovered that your fork fixed them already. I uninstalled the original and installed yours and I haven’t had the black screen once since.

Thanks!

@travishardiman this is an electron error. I don’t see it fixed.
can u tell me more about your environment.
what pi, node --version,npm --version
-
@sdetweil Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.2, 4GB
pi@smartmirror:~ $ node --version v16.15.1 pi@smartmirror:~ $ npm --version 8.11.0 pi@smartmirror:~ $ uname -a Linux smartmirror 5.15.32-v8+ #1538 SMP PREEMPT Thu Mar 31 19:40:39 BST 2022 aarch64 GNU/Linux
-
@travishardiman ah, 64 bit version, aarch64
please fall back to the 32 bit version, armv7l
lots of untested things on aarch64
-
@sdetweil is there an easy way to back-up/restore my current config? I don’t think there’s a way to switch to 32 bit without reinstalling the OS is there?

@travishardiman when is that from?
did u do manual install or my script?
have seen that error before.
-
@sdetweil I tried to update the error in the first message with the first line. I posted as new reply in case someone is searching for that.
I just found your scripts here so I’m going to try this today, thanks!

@travishardiman said in ERROR:node_controller.cc(585)] Trying to re-add dropped peer:
is there an easy way to back-up/restore my current config
I have a backup/restore tool that will save the config, css and the location of all the installed modules (github links)
and tghen on restore downloads and re-installs the modules from the links -
The backup didn’t restore my custom.css, mmpm, or some of the configuration files for 2 of my plugins but luckily I had those backed up elsewhere. I’m back up and running again though and so far so good! I’ll post back with logs if I get black screens again. Thanks for your help!
