SOLVED Wind direction 180 degrees twisted at Yr

Hello,

I am happy to be able to use Yr in the weather module. However, I noticed that the “translation” of the wind direction is rotated 180 degrees.
If you show the arrow (showWindDirectionAsArrow: false) the wind is displayed exactly as it is on www.yr.no.

But if you want to show the direction as the direction name (SSW for wind from south-south-west) NNO is displayed. So exactly 180 degrees twisted.

A bug or have I understood something wrong?

@MajorC Wind direction is now fixed for the Yr-provider and will work as expected in the next MM version (PR 3020).

@MajorC I’ll have a look When I developed the Yr-module, I did not test with that config option.

@MajorC It seems I messed up here. I displayed the wind direction as an arrow when implementing the provider, and made sure the arrow matched the arrow on Yr.no. The implementation of the arrow in MagicMirror points at the direction from where the wind I blowing, but the arrow on Yr points in the direction the wind is blowing.

I will fix this in the next version of Magic Mirror. Thank you for pointing out the error!

@magmar I only know weather with the arrow pointing into the direction the wind is blowing. But maybe that could be a good option as a config.
