MMM-OpenWeatherMapForecast loading issue?

I screwed up loading the last MM update and lost all of my content, so I had to start over again, I used to use MMM-OpenWeatherForecast, when I reinstalled it I got just a “loading” display on my mirror? So I thought id try MMM-OpenWeatherMapForecast, but I’m still getting the same thing, just the “loading” on the module, I’ve tried a few other weather modules and they seem to work fine, but I would really like to use one of these? I have tried changing the node helper api call to 3.0, but that doesn’t work either, well not for me anyway? Has anyone had this issue and got it resolved, I did a search but the only thing I can find is changing the api info in node helper? Any direction would be much appreciated!

rename your existing MMM-OpenWeatherMapForecast module folder to some other name
see the mv command (mv --help)
then try again…
it will report errors in the output where u start mm (npm start ) -

ctrl-m to minimize MM if running open a terminal window on you MM system ctrl-alt-t cd ~/Magicmirror/modules mv MMM-OpenWeatherMapForecast old OPWFC git clone https://github.com/sdetweil/MMM-OpenWeatherMapForecast cd MMM-OpenWeatheMapForecast npm install cd ../..if mm is running recycle it now
if MM is NOT running donpm startafter it comes up, ctrl-m to minimize and look at the messages output

just edit the file with nano and add that stuff to the end on new lines

I just read it take 2 hours for your app to be activated so put a new one in . You can delete you old one in weather maps creat a new one like say
Romford it should then appear and say activated
Add to your file again wait .
I am having a simpler problem as mine isn’t loading
So going try again tomorrow.Best of luck lots of people are having similar issues.

Hi yes mine not loading try reloading a new app key from open weather maps wait 2 hour before starting it up . create a new api you can delete you old one

Once your git things working get mini adapter use copy sd card on the pi it take a while but things go wrong you can start agin with your copy .
