Since it has been about a century since I’ve built a MM, the most important keystroke combo which is to toggle Fullscreen mode on and off that I used no longer works.
What is the current set of keys or specific key I need to use to get the MM out of fullscreen. Pi 5 w 8GB

@ankonaskiff17 Yes, wayland has changed that …

ctrl-m still works to minimize MM

alt-tab to go thru the apps again

@sdetweil Thanks, I do appreciate it.
Are you supporting Wayland going forward and just letting the old [name I can’t remember] wither away to old app/process heaven?

That was good where you and the other current administrators put together that list of modules that were no longer maintained. Saw Mykle’s name in there which is too bad. He provided me with some good guidance on occasion.

Magic Mirrors are going to be my Christmas gifts this year so time to get cracking!!

@ankonaskiff17 wayland will be the default window manager going forward. not of anyone here. all systems are getting it.

x11 is fast, had a long time to get this way, but has some shared memory security issues that cant be fixed.

you can go back to x11 currently using raspi-config, don’t know how long that will last.
          change is constant

i had nothing to do with the new 3rd party list, other than suggesting to add it to the forum header links .

mykle and others, yes its sad when some of our contributors stop for whatever reason, but life
continues needing us to make changes.
