      Hi,

I have installed MM2 on my Pi3 and everything was working fine.

I was then lucky enough to pick up a zero, so have switched the SD cards round so the MM card is now in the zero.

When I try to start it, nothing happens. No error, no message, nothing.

Is there something I am missing? Do I need to do a fresh install on the zero?

I have tried node serveronly too from the MagicMirror directory, and I get Illegal instruction

When I enter sudo node serveronly, nothing happens again.

Any help or thoughts you may have would be appreciated.

      Thanks

Update: I’ve just switched the card back, and it’s working on the Pi3 with no issue

The README specifically states only Raspberry Pi 2 & 3 are supported. I don’t have a zero to test on. Not sure others have one. You’re welcome to send me a zero to develop on though. you’ll be contributing to the project.

A Life? Cool! Where can I download one of those from?

            Can’t tell if sarcasm

I’ll stick with my pi3 for now, have another project in mind for the zero

Keep checking out thepihut, they keep getting stocks of zeros in

Oh no, wasn’t meant as sarcasm at all. I have contributed hardware to projects before, and I’ve had people do the same to me as well. Basically if someone wants something running on a specific piece of hardware that I don’t have (or plan on getting), I welcome ‘project donations’ to do that for them. Most of the time people just send it and call it done, occasionally someone will ask for me to send it back.

Ah OK, if I pick up another I’ll let you know.

Shipping would be an issue from the UK though

Looks like they’re a bit … out of stock at my usual vendors. Hrm.

@KirAsh4 just got this email from Pi Hut

Good News! We’ll be releasing two small(ish) batches of Raspberry Pi Zero today.

One has already launched (9AM BST), and by popular demand, the other will launch at 7PM BST (8th June) - for those of you at work / school :)

Could work well with the two way glass and a camera

Good News! We’ll be releasing a fresh batch of Raspberry Pi Zero today at 3pm today(14th June (UK time… (in 30 minutes)))

Usually we’d release our PiZero stock each Wednesday, but we have packing staff off tomorrow, so it makes more sense today :)

Thanks, but I’ll wait till my US vendor has them. $5 plus free shipping beats getting it from the UK.
