NFL Score Module
-
nfl updated the data source and is now on week 2 season 2018. so it should work now again as expected.
-
I’m sick of changing the data source for every season and of course this year it happened again. I’m open to discuss new data sources. The data source ideally should have the following features:
- free
- JSON REST API
- one data feed, no switching between regular and postseason. this was always a big pain with the old API
The data should contain:
- score
- home team
- visitor team
- date
- time
- game status: 1ST_QUARTER, 2ND_QUARTER, 3RD_QUARTER, 4TH_QUARTER, HALF_TIME, OVER_TIME, FINAL, FINAL_OVERTIME, TIE, UPCOMING
-
The data source was fixed and with it the version 1.1.0 of the module is released.
Thanks to https://github.com/alacercogitatus and https://github.com/justjim1220 for their contributions.

Is there a way to have player statistics without using voice, Just have it there full time? If game day scores is on the left side maybe have the stats on the right side?
This is a great module though.
-
@Dropzone1969 Not without rewriting the module.
-
ok, thank you
-
Sorry to bring this back from the dead but I was wondering if this was still supported?
I installed it on my magic mirror docker image ran the npm command and am getting this:
NFL REGULAR SEASON 2021 WEEK UNDEFINED
Loading…Hoping someone can point this MM newbie in the right direction
-
@requiemm the issue has been reported to the author. no fixes yet
-
@sdetweil Thanks! I missed that when skimming the thread.
-
@requiemm the API still provides the data from last season. I started building a prototype with a different API provider.
