I am just learning programming, but wanted to try and write a module to pull text from a website that updates that text daily. Is this doable? Would I have to build an rss feed fron the data first? Also, Can I set the module to scroll the text because it usually won’t all fit neatly onto the screen space. Thank you in advance!

Is it plain text? Or formatted text inside a website?

So, I’ll just put it out there. I’m an alcoholic. There are these daily guidance that are set for every day called the daily reflections. They are published on a number of different websites and update daily.

Okay, understood. So we are talking about a site like this?
          https://www.aa.org/pages/en_US/daily-reflection

That’s a full website which makes it difficult just extracting the reflection. Not impossible, but difficult and vulnerable to parsing errors. Do you have other sites, maybe a rss feed or something similar?
