      In fact we are two guys in Munich looking to solve the problem. My colleague did not wnat to spend any more time, he ordered “his” mirror at myspiegel, so we will get some update from him soon. Secondly I spent some time to investigate further at the weekend. Contacted glastroesch in Ulm, they refused to sell to private persons ( thanks for the hint @Blamer ), after some friendly email discussions they recommended me a local glasshop in Munich Allach, they have been very friendly, they have one sample I can test, the only drawback will be a 40 min drive for me, so I have to coordinate this between job and family, once I do have some news here, I will post it.
      In parallel i have written to some of the acrylic glas vendors noted in one of the previous posts. The answers from ALL of them was negative for 2 way mirrors ( modulor.de, buskunstoffhandel.de, expresszuschnitt.de). All of them replied me that they do not offer two way mirrors with acrylic glass.
      Will keep you updated…

        @Blamer Did you have to pick it up yourself in stuttgart? or did they ship it? And what exactly did you ask for? spionspiegel? did you mention any specs?

          @Steff Ordered mine today at http://www.glas-schaubeck.de/, 6mm thickness, could verify it beforehand with a sample, will get it next week, once done with it, will post it in the built mirror section.

            Which technical details did you choose and what do they charge?

              Yesterday i’ve got the MySpiegel.de mirror. I’m satisfied!

              It is still packed in foil because the frame did not arrive, yet. So i will show pictures of it soon.

                I’m also use one from myspiegel, they were very friendly and reliable. I’m satisfied with the result, will maybe post some pics when I’m done with the frame.

                  Hi,

                  I am also using a glass from myspiegel.de.
                  Built the mirror quite some time ago, almost 2 years by now.

                  I’m satisfied with the glass, but indeed it looks “darker” and a bit more grey than a standard mirror.

                    @thk That looks great!!

                    Kindly apologize, seems like the link was not really working:
                    http://www.pilkington.com/de-de/de/produkte/produktkategorien/spezialglaeser/pilkington-mirroview

                    That’s probably the best possible option, since it’s advertised to be used with TVs and screens. Have you already asked them how much that mirror costs?

                    EDIT: I just found a youtube video displaying the 50/50 version for high ambient light… that looks really good imho!

                      I found something else: http://www.glas-per-klick.de/spiegel-antikspiegel/spionspiegel.html
                      since the small one (20x30cm) is pretty cheap I’ll just order one and try it out. I’ll keep you posted.

                        I did ask Several glaciers in Munich for an offer of the Pilkington glass, however no one was able to provide an offer ( seems to be difficult to get a " Grosshändler" beeing able to sell this glass.
                        @yawns
                        Kindly apologize for the late answer, I just received the mirror and the invoice last week and I was on travel for several days. I paid tremendous 120 Eur for the glass, however, I “just wanted” it and they were extremely friendly, I can only tell you that it is from Glass Fuess, 6mm thickness, I do not have more data, but I can tell you, it really looks great. Currently assembling the frame, will post some pictures latest in two weeks, Regards Stefan
