Very nice build!!
Did you do anything for ventilation? I guess it gets warm behind the mirror? -
@gizzmo Thanks a lot. I measure the temperatur inside with a DS18B20 sensor to get knowledge about the heating. I do not exceed 32 °C since starting to use it. The next summer i need to see. But the frame is not directly at the wall because of the way of mounting it. So i have 5mm space between and some air can circulate.

Lovely mirror!
Quick question about the colours of the light and reflection. I noticed in your pictures that the mirror seems to reflect the complimentary colours of your RGB light (in purple light the reflection of the opposite wall is light blue). Is the mirror doing that or did you have different colours on your RGB LEDs? If it is the mirror, is this noticeable when you look at the mirror or only through the camera? -
@yesyes thanks! :D at that time the RGB Led’s had a rainbow effect. It is APA102 and i can switch different effects with hyperion. So that is what you see.
-
@DirkS Ah, OK, I thought you may have addressable LEDs but wanted to make sure. I have lots of RGB LED strips in my house too and was a bit worried that I would have to put the mirror in a “white LED only” area. ;-)
-
Yeah! Thats the best :-)
Great Job! -
Just wow… fantastic job!!!
