Motion Sensor Toy

so i want to setup a picture to be displayed on my magicmirror until the motion sensor is tripped then i want it to play a mpeg/mov file for like 30-45 seconds then go back to the picture. Would this be possible?

I have been looking to do something very similar to this, except I want a blank mirror that will sense motion and then play a video…
